SSC exams pass rate 93.58pc

The average pass rate in this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations is 93.58 percent.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina published the results of the SSC examinations at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in the capital’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar on Thursday.
Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni along with chairmen of various boards and concerned officials and employees were present at the BICC at the time.
This year, the SSC, equivalent exams were conducted in a short syllabus due to COVID pandemic situations.
22,27,113 candidates took part in this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations. Compared to last time, the number of candidates has increased by 1,79,334 students. Last year, this number was 20,47,779 candidates.
Students who have passed SSC and equivalent examinations – thier application for admission in eleventh grade will be taken online. Applications will start on January 5. The classes of eleventh grade are scheduled to start from March 2.
After the announcement of the results, students will be able to view their results in three ways at 12 pm. The results can be obtained from any mobile phone via SMS, the website of the concerned board of education and from the respective educational institutions.
