HSC and equivalent examinations have started from today. The exams have started from 10 am across the country. This year, around 14 lakh students are participating in higher secondary exams.

The HSC exam is being taken in a short syllabus 8 months after the scheduled time due to the coronavirus situation. The exam, which will be held for one and a half hours, will continue till December 30 in two phases in the morning and afternoon.

A total of 14 lakh students from 9 general education boards, madrasas and technical education boards are participating in this year’s HSC exams.

Meanwhile, the education boards have already completed all the preparations to take the exam in a fair, question leak-free and positive environment.

In today’s HSC exams, Physics I Paper, Alim-e-Quran Majid and Accounting Policy and Application-II in technical subjects will be held.

Meanwhile, as per the instructions of the Board of Education, students entered the center 30 minutes before the start of the examination. If an examinee enters later due to unavoidable reasons, his/her name, roll no., time of entry and reason for delay should be sent to the Board of Education. The set code of the question paper will be informed to the concerned through SMS 25 minutes before the start of the exam.

Besides, no one other than the officer-in-charge can enter the center with any electronic device. The officer-in-charge also cannot use the device to take pictures.

Although HSC and equivalent examinations were conducted in the first week of April every year, it was not possible to take the examinations in time this year due to the coronavirus situation in the country.
