43rd BCS preliminary exam end

The 43rd BCS Preliminary Examination has been ended in the eight divisional city centers in the country. The test started at 10 am and ended at 12 pm on Friday.

It was learned that 4,35,190 applications were submitted for 1,814 posts of different cadres in the examination. 

Out of 1,814 posts, 300 will be appointed in the administration cadre, 100 in police, 25 in foreign affairs, 643 in education, 35 in audit, 22 in information, 19 in tax, 14 in customs and 19 in cooperatives, according to the notification of Public Service Commission (PSC). 

Each candidate had to take part in the preliminary examination of 200 marks for two hours. The candidate will get 1 number for each correct answer. However, 0.50 number will be deducted for each wrong answer from the total obtained number.

The PSC has taken special measures to take the exam during the COVID period. It was ensured that the examinees were health conscious and wear masks.
