Per capita income increases to $2824

In the current fiscal year, 2021-22 (up to March) the per capita income of the people of the country has increased to $2,824 (BDT 2,41,480). In the last fiscal year (2020-21) it was $2,591(BDT 2,19,738).
At the same time, the growth in the current financial year has been 7.25 percent which was it was 6.94 percent in the previous year.
Planning Minister MA Mannan came up with the development at a press conference after the ECNEC meeting at the NEC conference room in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar on Tuesday.
