12 kg LPG cylinder price reduced by Tk 85

The price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) has been reduced by Tk 85 from 1,313 for a 12 kg cylinder at the retailer level.
Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) issued a statement on Thursday in this regard.
“The newly fixed price of LPG is Tk 1,228, which was Tk 1,313. It will be effective from tomorrow (December 3) and all licenses of LPG marketing companies will implement the price,” it said.
The statement said the BERC also re-fixed autogas price Tk 57.24 per liter, while per kilogram of LPG at Tk 102.32 at retailer level inclusive VAT owned by private sector.
According to the BERC decision, new price at retailer level owned by private sector, 12.5 kg LPG has been fixed at Tk 1,280 at retailer level, 15 kg at Tk 1,535, 16 kg at Tk 1,637, 18 kg at Tk 1,842, 20 kg at Tk 2,047, 22 kg at Tk 2,251, 25 kg at Tk 2,558, 30 kg at Tk 3,070, 33 kg at Tk 3,377, 35 kg at Tk 3,581 and 45 kg at Tk 4,604.
According to the BERC details, the price of LPG $995 and $750 per tonne was fixed for December 2021 by Saudi Contract Price (Saudi CP) as per Propane and Butane ratio 35:65. The Saudi CP price was fixed $765.75 per tonne considering the ration between Propane and Butane average.
