Tain-microbus collsion: Burial of 10, cremation of one completed

The burial of 10 people and the cremation of one killed in the train-microbus collision in Mirsharai, Chattogram have been completed.
The Namaz-e-Janaza of the deceased was held on Saturday at around 9:45 am and their burial was completed at 11:00 am on Saturday at Khandakia Chamdia Government Primary School ground in Hathazari.
Earlier, the burial of two deceased was completed on Friday (July 29) night. Another deceased was cremated at night. Three more were buried in their respective areas on Saturday morning.
Confirming the matter, Chikandandi union member Tofail Ahmed said the Namaz-e-Janaza of the five deceased – Ridwan, Sajeeb, Maruf, Hasan and Niru – took place around 10 am.
According to their family sources, after the Namaz-e-Janaza, the bodies were buried in the family cemetery.
On Friday (July 30) afternoon, 11 passengers of a microbus were killed when they were hit by a Mohanagar Provati train at the Khoiyachara Waterfall area in Mirsharai, Chattogram. All 10 of them are student-teachers of Jugirhat R&J Coaching Center in Hathazari. Another is the driver of the microbus.
The deceased students were – Mohammad Hasan, Moshab Ahmed Hisam (16), Tauhid Ibn Shawon (20), Sagar, Iqbal Hossain Maruf and Ayatul Islam.
The four deceased teachers were – Ridwan Chowdhury (22), a student of Chattogram College; Mostafa Masud Rakib (19), a student of Cantonment Public College; Wahidul Alam Jisan (22), and Ziaul Haque Sajeeb (22).
The other deceased was the microbus driver Gholam Mustafa Niru (26).
