Fire at Rajshahi Medical

A fire broke out near Ward No 31 of Rajshahi Medical College (RMC) Hospital. However, no casualties were reported.
The incident took place around 5:30 am on Tuesday. Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani, director of the hospital, confirmed the matter.
He said a fire broke out in the morning due to an electrical short circuit behind the Ward No 31 of the hospital. On information, fire service personnel rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. Although it did not cause much damage, panic spread among the patients and their relatives.
