Two killed as ambulance hits motorcycle in Satkhira

Two were killed and one was injured when an ambulance hit a motorcycle at Binerpota on the Satkhira-Khulna highway. The accident took place in front of the BSCIC office in Binerpota around 9:00 pm on Friday. 

The deceased were identified as Bazlur Rahman, son of late Shah Abdul Quader of Palashpol area of ​​Satkhira municipality and Abdus Salam son of late Moeen driver of Palashpol ABkhan petrol pump area. 

The injured Hafizur Rahman is the son of Bulbul Ahmed of Satkhira New Market area. He was admitted to Satkhira Sadar Hospital. The three victims were identified as businessmen.

Satkhira Sadar Police Station OC (Investigation) Biswajit Adhikari said Bazlur Rahman, Abdus Salam and Hafizur Rahman were returning to Satkhira on a motorcycle from Patkelghata. When they reached Binerpota area, a speeding ambulance pushed their motorcycle from behind. They fell on the road and were seriously injured. Bazlur Rahman died on the way to Sadar Hospital after being rescued by locals. Abdus Salam later died while undergoing treatment.
