Former Narayanganj Metropolitan Juba Dal organizing secretary and Chhatra Dal leader Rashidur Rahman Rashu has been sent to jail by a court in a sabotage case filed with Fatullah police station.
Senior Judicial Magistrate Kausar Alam's court ordered him to be sent to jail on Saturday (June 11) afternoon.
His lawyer Shoriful Islam Shiplu said there was a warrant against Rashidur Rahman Rashu in a sabotage case at Fatullah police station. The court sent him to jail on the warrant.
Earlier on June 10, police arrested Rashidur Rahman Rashu from his house in Masdai area of the city.
