Insurance officer killed in Rangamati rIoad crash

An insurance officer was killed in a motorcycle accident on Ghilachhari Road in Naniyarchar, Rangamati. 

The accident took place in the Ghilachhari area of ​​Naniyarchar Upazila on Rangamati-Khagrachhari road around 9:00 pm on Wednesday. 

The deceased was identified as Poppy Chakma, a resident of the Khagrachhari district. He was working as the branch manager of Sonali Life Insurance.

According to local sources, Poppy Chakma was a rider on a motorcycle. However, it was not known how the accident occurred. Police seized the motorcycle from the spot. No information was also known about the motorcyclist.

Naniyarchar Police Station OC Sujan Halder said that on information, the police rushed to the spot and brought the body of Poppy Chakma to the police station.
