A mobile court has recovered 31,008 liters of soybean oil from a trader’s warehouse in Sherpur, Bogura. At that time, the owner of the warehouse was fined Tk 50,000.

Assistant Commissioner (Land) Sabrina Sharmin conducted an operation at the Hatkhola Road area of ​​the upazila around 5:30 pm on Thursday.

The name of the fined businessman is Anwar Hossain, 55, son of Belal Fakir, a resident of the Hatkhola Road area.

Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Sabrina Sharmin said the operation was carried out based on secret information and illegally stored soybean oil was recovered. Trader Anwar has been fined Tk 50,000 for stockpiling oil. He has also been instructed to sell oil at a price fixed by the government.
