Six killed when two buses collided in Natore

The bus that met with the accident
At least six people were killed when two passenger buses collided on the Hatikumrul-Bonpara highway in Natore's Baraigram.
The accident took place on Bonpara-Hatikumrul road in the Mahishabhanga area of the upazila around 11:30 pm on Saturday.
The identities of the deceased could not be known. All of them are bus passengers. 25 passengers were also injured in the incident. They have been sent to different hospitals.
Confirming the information, Bonpara Highway Police Station OC Shafiqul Islam said that a Dhaka-bound bus of Siam Paribahan from Rajshahi collided head-on with a National Enterprise bus coming from opposite direction. Six people died on the spot.
On information, the police and fire service members went and rescued the victims, said the police official.
