Juba League leader killed in Mirsarai bus crash

A local Jubo League leader was killed after being hit by a bus at Mirsarai Upazila in Chattogram on Sunday. 

The deceased was identified as Rabiul Hossain Selim, son of Abu Taher of Nandanpur village under Jorarganj UP. He was a former member of the Upazila Awami Juba League.

It has been reported that a Dhaka-bound bus of Tisha Paribahan rammed him while he was crossing the Dhaka-Chittagong highway at BSRM Gate area of ​​Jorarganj UP of the Upazila. 

Later, the locals rescued Selim and took him to the hospital where doctors declared him dead. 

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Jorarganj Highway Police Station Alamgir Hossain said that the bus was taken into police custody while its driver managed to flee the scene.
