Rajarhat records lowest temp of 6.4°C

A mild to moderate cold wave is being swept over several places of the country including Rangpur, Rajshahi division, said the Met Office.

Confirming the matter on Friday morning, Dinajpur Meteorological Department official Tofazzal Hossain said Dinajpur was recorded at 8.5°C in the morning. Rajarhat (Kurigram) was recorded the “lowest 6.4°C”.  

Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over several other parts of the country including the Rangpur-Rajshahi division, he also said.

Tofazzal Hossain added that the humidity in Dinajpur was 93% at 6 am today. “The lowest temperature in the country was recorded at 6.4°C in Rajarhat. Yesterday, it was 13.0°C,” he said.

Besides, Rangpur was recorded at 8.2°C, Syedpur 7.8°C, Rajarhat 6.4°C, Dimla 8.4°C, Naogaon 7.3°C, Chuadanga 9.0°C, Rajshahi 8.5°C, Srimangal 9.6°C, Tetulia 7.3°C and Dinajpur was recorded at 8.5°C.
