It has been drizzling at Kalapara in Patuakhali since Friday morning. The sky is cloudy, with this, the intensity of winter has increased 

The Khepupara Meteorological Office has recorded 2 mm of rainfall in the upazila from 6 am to 9 am on Friday.

Meanwhile, rain and winter have brought stagnation to public life. The worst affected are the low-income workers. The lives of the people living in the Char areas have been put into a lot of trouble. “This situation could continue for another two days,” said the meteorological office. 

Sobhan Mia, a rickshaw puller from the Badurtali area of ​​Kalapara municipal town, said the sun did not see yesterday. It has been raining since this morning and It’s getting cold. “There are no people on the streets. So, I’m sitting in a store,” he added. 

Swapan Mia, an auto driver in the municipal orphanage area, said that there was not much income yesterday either. I have been sitting at the corner of the orphanage with my vehicle since morning. There are no people on the road. People did not leave their houses due to rain and cold. “Even today I don’t think I will get a good response,” he added. 

Masud Rana, acting in-charge of the Patuakhali district meteorological office, said the hostile weather could continue for another two days. Besides, the severity of winter may increase.
