Missing housewife comes back after 18yrs

A missing housewife named Ajufa Begum has come back home after 18 years in Rajbari.

The housewife was missing for 18 years, however, she suddenly returned to her husband's house on Sunday evening at Nawabpur in Baliakandi of Rajbari. Her children and relatives became emotional after seeing her.

Housewife Ajufa Begum, daughter of Hakim Sheikh of Beruli village in Nawabpur UP of the upazila and wife of Shamsher Fakir of the same UP.

Curious people gathered at her husband's house to see the housewife alive after almost a decade and a half of her disappearance.

It was known that Ajufa Begum went missing 18 years ago leaving her husband, 4 daughters and 3 sons. She was mentally imbalanced. Her relatives searched for her but could not find her. Azufa's father Hakim Sheikh died on December 27. Seven days after her father's death, Ajufa suddenly returned home.

The housewife's son Abbas Ali Fakir said, “My mother went missing 18 years ago leaving behind 6 of our siblings. We thought she might be dead. I was thinking of organizing a milad and doa ceremony for my mother. But by the mercy of God, we got our mother back.”

Neighbor Nur Alam Siddique said Azufa had a “psychilogical” problem. She went missing about 18 years ago. Unable to find her, family members thought she was dead. Suddenly she came back last evening, however, she cannot recognize anyone.
