Semi-decomposed body of govt employee found in Khulna

Police recovered the semi-decomposed body of an assistant of the Khulna district administration's secret branch. 

The body was recovered from a rented house at Kazi Mansion in East Baniakhama of the Khulna city around 8:00 pm on Friday (November 26). 

The deceased was identified as Rabindranath Sarkar, son of Sudhir Sarkar of Raruli village in Paikgachha Upazila.

Anindya Mandal, nephew of Rabindranath Sarkar said that he came to Kazi Mansion to look for Rabindranath Sarkar after receiving a call from his father Narayan Chandra Mandal. After not getting any response from inside, Anindya informed the house owner. When the door was opened, they found Rabindranath Sarkar's body. 

He added that his uncle had high blood pressure and diabetes. 

The owner of the house, Kazi Masud Monwar, said that Rabindranath Sarkar had been living in the house for more than a year. He used to work in the office of Khulna Deputy Commissioner. 

OC (investigation) of Khulna Sadar Police Md. Hanif said the reason behind his death could not be known immediately.
