His wife Asma Begum is a former reserved female member of wards no.1, 2, and 3 of Nazarpur Union. In the 3rd phase of the Union Parishad polls, Asma Begum is again contesting for the post of female member.

The young voters of the union said that although Asma Begum's campaign was not so noticeable in this election but her husband Hazrat Ali's election campaign has attracted all for his unique strategy. Many are promising to vote, and he continues to campaign.
