129 overseas returnees quarantined in Madaripur

A total of 129 people who returning from overseas have been placed in home quarantine and one in isolation to prevent coronavirus infection in Madaripur along with 138 others released who kept in the home quarantine. 

Madaripur Civil Surgeon Dr. Md. Shafiqul Islam confirmed this information on Tuesday afternoon. 

He said that strict legal action would be taken on those who would disobey the order to stay in the home quarantine. In each upazila, health officials will also impose fines and penalties for those who disobey orders through mobile courts. 

Madaripur Health Department revealed that 100-bed have been prepared in the new building of Madaripur Sadar Hospital to prevent coronavirus.
