Covid-19: 1781 deaths, 742141 infects in 24hrs

In the last 24 hours 742,141 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus worldwide while 1,781 people died from the pandemic.
Earlier on Thursday, 766,560 COVID- 19 patients were detected while 2,033 deaths related to the disease were reported worldwide.
As of Friday (19-08-2022), a total of 598,839,607 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus worldwide, as the death toll rises to 6,466,367 while 572,863,218 patients have recovered, according to Worldometers data.
Japan has topped the daily death toll and virus cases list. In the last 24 hours, the country has seen 300 deaths by Covid-19 and 208,483 virus cases, reporting a total of 35,955 COVID deaths and 16,161,801 infections.
The Worldometer data shows that United states has seen the second-highest death toll of 264 in the last 24 hours, increasing the death toll to 1,064,780. The total number of cases has exceeded 95,186,075 with 68,979 new infections.
Brazil has reported 22,167 new coronavirus cases and 202 deaths during the last 24 hours. So far, the country has reported 682,276 deaths and 34,245,374 COVID cases.
In the last 24 hours, 46,724 people have been infected with corona in Germany and 169 people have died. Since the beginning of the corona epidemic, the country reported 31,771,884 coronavirus cases and 146,383 deaths.
The coronavirus, which was first reported in China in 2019, affects 228 countries and territories worldwide.
