Nationwide COVID Vaccine Booster Dose Day Tuesday

Nationwide COVID Vaccine Booster Dose Day will be celebrated on Tuesday (July 19).
The matter was informed in a notification signed by Dr. Shamsul Haque, a member secretary of the COVID Vaccine Deployment Committee of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), on Thursday.
It says that you have successfully completed the third dose or Booster Dose Week earlier to boost the Covid-19 vaccine activity. In continuation, the COVID Vaccine Booster Dose Day will be celebrated nationwide on July 19. Coordinating with the Covid-19 Vaccination Coordination Committee and all related departments will encourage the public to celebrate Booster Dose Day and take measures to provide the booster dose that everyone deserves.
The notification further said that on this day, all citizens aged 18 years and above will have to take the third dose or booster dose of the COVID vaccine. The booster dose (3rd dose) should be given 4 months after taking the second dose. The vaccine recipients can take booster doses at the nearest vaccination center or at any of the COVID-19 vaccination centers in the country, subject to the presentation of appropriate proof (COVID-19 Vaccine Card or Certificate).
“Pfizer vaccine” delivery conditions must be followed at all vaccination centers. Vaccination will start from 9 am on July 19, it added.
The notification also mentions that the regular Covid-19 vaccination booster dose program (1 day) should be conducted while continuing the normal program of giving the 1st and 2nd doses of the vaccine.
