Bangladesh counts 51 COVID cases, no deaths

Bangladesh today has counted 51 fresh cases and no death from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
The tally of fatalities from the pandemic has remained at 29,124 while the overall caseload has stood at 19,52,326, Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) sources said on Sunday.
Bangladesh reported 1.04 percent of Covid-19 positive cases as 4,896 samples were tested in the past 24 hours.
The total detection rate since the onset of the pandemic is 14.02 percent while the mortality rate stands at 1.49 percent.
The recovery count rose to 18,90,842 after another 326 patients were discharged from the dedicated hospitals during the past one day. Besides, the recovery rate stands at 96.49 percent.
The country recorded zero coronavirus death for the first time on November 20, 2021, since the pandemic began on March 8, 2020.
