Two die from COVID-19 in MMCH

Two more people have died while undergoing treatment at the COVID-19 unit in Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH) in the last 24 hours till Sunday morning. Both of the deceased had tested positive for coronavirus.
Dr Mohiuddin Khan Moon, the focal person of the hospital's Covid unit, has confirmed the information this morning (January 23, 2022). The deceased were from the Mymensingh district.
He said a total of 68 patients are now undergoing treatment at the Corona unit. Two of them are in the ICU. Some 13 people have been admitted in the last 24 hours while 12 others returned home after recovery.
Meanwhile, Mymensingh District Civil Surgeon Dr Mohammad Nazrul Islam said, "In the last 24 hours, 93 COVID patients have been diagnosed after testing 282 samples in the Mymensingh district."
