RMCH records highest COVID cases in a day

Highest numbers of COVID cases have been recorded in RMCH (Rajshahi MEdical Collage Hospital).
In the last 24 hours, one person has died of coronavirus in RMCH. Besides, 138 people have been identified COVID positive at the same time.
Director of RMC Hospital Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani confirmed the information on Thursday morning. The deceased was a resident of Chapainawabganj district.
The RMCH director said one person died of coronavirus infection at RMC Hospital in 24 hours. Meanwhile, 43 patients were admitted to the 104-bed RMCH COVID unit till 9 am on Thursday. The number was 43 a day ago.
At present 24 patients from Rajshahi, seven from Chapainawabganj, four from Naogaon, two from Natore, three from Pabna and three from Kushtia are hospitalized.
There are 26 people admitted to the hospital with coronavirus. Even a day ago the number was 26 people. There are 12 people admitted to the hospital with COVID symptoms. COVID was not detected in 5 samples. Besides, three people have been admitted in 24 hours. Seven people returned home after recovering in one day.
Meanwhile, one died of coronavirus infection at RMC Hospital on the day of the recorded coronavirus identification. He died between 9 am on Wednesday and 9 am on Thursday while undergoing treatment. The home of the deceased patient is in Chapainawabganj district. Apart from this, there is no news of COVID patient death in the coronavirus unit of the hospital.
Besides, corona samples of 94 people were tested at Rajshahi Medical College (RMC) Hospital Lab on Wednesday. Among them, 41 people were detected with coronavirus. On the same day, 97 people were detected COVID positive in 281 sample tests at RMC Lab.
