COVID cases bouncing in Ctg

The COVID cases are literally bouncing in Chattogram. In the last 24 hours, 989 people have been identified with coronavirus in the city.
However, no one died in Corona at that time. Civil Surgeon Mohammad Elias Chowdhury confirmed the information on Wednesday morning.
He said that in the last 24 hours, 3,192 samples have been tested at the Chattogram University, BITID, Chattogram Medical College, Imperial Hospital, Chevron Lab, Chattogram Maternal and Child Hospital, RTL, Medical Center Hospital, Epic Health Care, Lab Aid, Chattogram Metropolitan Hospital, Asian Specialized Hospital and Shah Amanat international airport. Among them, 989 people were tested COVID positive.
It was seen that the rate of coronavirus infection is increasing day by day in Chattogram. The people of Chattogram are not following the hygiene rules. Tourist spots in Chattogram are still crowded despite the hygiene rules. Public transport, shopping malls, tourist spots and other places are not following the hygiene rules.
Meanwhile, on January 18, 738 coronavirus patients were found in Chattogram. These patients were identified through sample tests in different labs of the city. On that day, considering the sample, the detection rate was 23.67 percent. However, no deaths have been reported so far.
Besides, 829 new residents are in the metropolis and 160 are residents of different upazilas. In Chattogram so far 1,74,46 people have been infected and 1,348 people have died by COVID.
