1,82,481 more get Covid-19 1st dose vaccine in Rangpur

Some 1,82,481 more citizens were inoculated with the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine today raising the total number of the first dose recipients to 98,64,697 in Rangpur division.

"Among the 1,82,481 new first dose recipients, 62,459 were inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 110 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs and 1,19,912 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs today," said Divisional Director (Health) Dr Abu Md Zakirul Islam at 8:50 pm.

The total first dose recipient 98,64,697 citizens include 32,94,081 people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 51,86,520 people with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,31,849 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs and 12,52,247 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs.

Meanwhile, the number of the second dose recipients of Covid-19 vaccine rose to 60,63,772 with inoculation of more 35,912 people with the second dose of the jabs today in the division.

Among the 35,912 second dose recipient citizens, 14,156 people were inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 17,201 with Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine and 4,555 with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine in the division today.

The second dose recipient 60,63,772 citizens include 13,63,132 inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 44,97,774 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,25,779 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs and 77,087 with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine.

Besides, the number of the booster dose recipients of Covid-19 vaccine reached 91,537 people with the inoculation of 5,785 more citizens with the booster dose of the jabs today in the division.

"The 91,537 booster dose recipients include 87,217 vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs and 4,320 Pfizer Covid-19 jabs," Dr. Islam added.
