Four more died of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the total deaths toll to 28,076. The cases tally rose to 15,85,909 as 370 fresh cases were reported during the same time.
The current positivity rate is 2.43 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 13.78 percent.
A total of 15,214 samples were tested at 849 centers across the country in the previous 24 hours.
The recovery count rose to 15,49, 304 after another 203 patients were discharged from the hospitals during the past 24 hours.
From the beginning of the pandemic, 97.69 percent Covid-19 patients recovered among the infected people while 1.77 percent died, the DGHS statistics showed.
Among the four deceased, two were men and two were women. Of them, one was between 51-60 years old, two between 61-70 and one between 71-80, added the release.
Bangladesh first reported Covid-19 cases on March 8, 2020, and the first death from the deadly virus on March 18, ten days later.
