RMCH reports zero Covid-19 deaths

Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) recorded zero fatality in its Covid-19 unit in the last 24 hours till 6am today. At this time, seven more people were admitted to the hospital with Covid-19 symptoms while three of them left hospital after recovering. 

RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdany came up with the development at around 9am today. He said, no one died of Covid-19 or with symptoms in the past 24 hours.

Shamim Yazdani said 52 patients were admitted to the 104-bed RMCH's Corona unit till 9 am on Sunday. Even a day ago this number was 48. Of them, 20 are from Rajshahi, 13 from Chapainawabganj, six from Natore, five from Naogaon, three from Pabna, one each from Kushtia, Chuadanga, Dinajpur, Meherpur and Syedpur.

Six people have been admitted to the hospital with corona. There are 35 people admitted with corona symptoms. Eleven of the admitted were not detected with Covid-19. Besides, seven people have been admitted in the last 24 hours. Three people left the hospital in one day.

Earlier on Saturday, two were tested positive for Covid-19 after testing 61 samples in the RMCH lab. According to the test, the corona detection rate in Rajshahi is 3.43 percent.
