Former Kashmiri actress Zaira Wasim, who gave a farewell to the media industry last year, has given full attention to her religion. She has last seen in the movie ‘The Sky is Pink’. She, later, said goodbye to the entertainment world saying that “acting is hurting her religion”.
Now, Zaira Wasim requested to delete all the pictures from social media and her fan page.
Zaira shared a meme of US politician Bernie Sanders on her Instagram, saying: “Dear fan-pages, I’m once again asking you to read my message.”
Zaira herself wrote in her message, “Hello everyone!! I want to take a moment to thank each of you for the constant love and kindness you have showered me with. Y’ll have been a constant source of love and strength, thank you for being there to support me through everything. It is because of this care and consideration that y’ll have always shown I have a little favour to ask from all of you. I request you to please take down my pictures from your accounts and ask other fan pages to do the same.”
In a lengthy post on social media just before the release of ‘Sky Is Pink’ last year, Zaira Wasim wrote, “I’m not happy with my job, my acquaintance. For a long time, I felt like I was working hard to be someone else. Every time I learned to understand why I was working, I realized I wasn’t fit for it. This world has given me a lot of love and support. But at the same time, I’ve moved away from my faith.”
According to Zaira, the more she convinces herself that all she is doing is losing the “blessing” from her life. Announcing the decision on social media, she said, “I have nothing else to do but start everything in a new way.”
