Bangladesh, led by Akbar Ali, won the Under-19 World Cup by making history. So, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) does not want a small celebration for their achievement. That’s why exceptional arrangements have been made at the airport.

The Young Tigers is going to get the Water Cannon Salute back home this afternoon. BCB is going to make such celebration for the first time for any achievement in sports.

The aircraft carrying the world champions will land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Wednesday at 4:55 pm.

The under-19 team at the airport will receive the water salute greeting from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Basically, the Water Cannon Salute is given by the airport authorities during the first and last flight of an airline and aviation. This salute is also given during the retirement of an aircraft officer. However, such a step is the first for cricket and sports history in the country.
