Xi Jinping asks Chinese military to prepare for battle

Chinese President Xi Jinping ordered the military to be ready for war to resolutely defend the country’s sovereignty on Tuesday.
Chinese President Xi Jinping issued the directive during a meeting with a law enforcement delegation. Although Xi Jinping did not mention the name of any country at that time.
Tensions are rising on India’s Ladakh border. Indian and Chinese military members have clashed in several areas along the border in eastern Ladakh.
China has a dispute with the US Navy in the South China Sea. Besides, the United States and China have been engaged in a war of words since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic. In such a situation, Xi Jinping gave the instructions to the troops.
Xi ordered the military to think about worst-case scenarios, scale up training and battle preparedness, promptly and effectively deal with all sorts of complex situations and resolutely safeguard national sovereignty, security and development interests, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
