Worldwide coronavirus death toll exceeds 1,009,000

The death toll from coronavirus has surpassed 1,009,000 and the number of infections exceeded 33,732,000 people across the world.
According to worldometer, so far, 1,009,512 people have died from the deadly virus infection out of 33,732,181 coronavirus cases across the world. However, a total of 25,027,287 have recovered from the virus.
The United States still tops in the list in terms of both infections and deaths having 7,378,319 people infected with the virus. Of these, 210,217 have died in the country.
Brazil, the Latin American country has the second-highest number of deaths from coronavirus. The death toll rose to 142,280. Besides, the number of coronavirus cases in the country has risen to 4,753,410.
In addition, India is in the second position in the context of coronavirus infection and at third in the context of deaths after the United States and Brazil. The death toll in India rose to 97,450 and the number of coronavirus cases has risen to 6,219,224.
