World records 116,000 coronavirus cases in one day

Coronavirus outbreaks appear to be exacerbated globally especially in the United States and Latin America. Russia is not far behind. According to the Worldometer, in the last 24 hours, 1,16,304 people have been infected with coronavirus worldwide and 5,086 people have died within this time.

Among the countries most affected by the coronavirus in the last one day, Brazil has recorded are 24,151 coronavirus cases, United States recorded 22,658, Russia recorded 8,371, Peru recorded 5,087 and Chile has recorded 665 coronavirus cases.

The number of coronavirus cases is also increasing in India. In the last 24 hours, 7,300 people have been identified in the neighbouring country of Bangladesh. India has now risen to ninth place in the list of coronavirus-affected nations. And Bangladesh has risen to 22nd place. In the last 24 hours, a record 2029 people have been identified as infected in Bangladesh.

Although the United States is the world's largest country in terms of coronavirus infection, the Latin American country Brazil is in the second place while Eastern European Russia is in the third.

The highest death toll 1,223 in the last 24 hours was recorded in the United States and then1,067 in Brazil. The total number of deaths from coronavirus in the world is 362,081 people. And 5,909003 people have been infected so far. Besides, 2,581,951 people have recovered.

The virus, which has spread from China, has so far infected 213 countries and territories around the world.
