World-famous beauty pageant joins army

Crowned beauty pageants usually enter the modeling world or cinema. But, Garima Yadav, the winner of Miss Charming Face Beauty Pageant 2017, has turned her career into a very different angle. The Beauty Pageant is now Lieutenant Garima Yadav of the Indian Army.
Garima won the pageant in November 2017 and was selected for the next pageant at the international level, which was to be held in Italy, but Garima Yadav chose to join Officers Training Academy (OTA) Chennai instead.
Garima studied at Shimla Army Public School. After passing from there, she was admitted to the Department of Economics at St. Stephen's College, Delhi. The desire was to become a big bureaucrat with a civil service exam after graduation. She also started preparations like that. Garima was preparing for the civil service as well as worked part-time in a multinational company.
At this time Garima received an offer to participate in a beauty contest. In November 2017, she was selected as the best beauty in the competition called 'Miss Charming Face'. The next step in the competition was to go to Italy, but she was not interested.
Meanwhile, she could not do well in the IAS exam. But, Garima Didn't go back to the beauty pageant. Instead, she prepared for the Combined Defense Service exam.
Passing the exam, Garima joined the Officers Training Academy in Chennai, India for training. This training was not too easy for her. But Garima overcame all obstacles with a strong mind. At the end of the training in 2019, Garima was found in the forefront among the newly women army officers.
Garima joined the Indian Army last year as a lieutenant after overcoming all obstacles step by step. Lt Garima Yadav wants to serve the country in this way from behind the camera.
