West Indies are due to visit Bangladesh on January 7, 2021, for a tour comprising of three Tests, three ODIs, and two T20Is. However, the arrival schedule of the Caribbean is being delayed by one week. If all goes well, they will come to play in Bangladesh in the second week of January.

BCB cricket operations chairman, Akram Khan has confirmed that the arrival of the West Indies cricket team will be delayed by one week. He said the Caribbeans will be given practice facilities during the quarantine period. Besides, although the schedule is not final, BCB has finalized Dhaka and Chattogram as the venues for the series.

A two-member inspection team of Cricket West Indies arrived in Bangladesh on Saturday (November 28) to assess Bangladesh Cricket Board's Covid-19 management and the security arrangements ahead of their forthcoming series.

They are more likely to be satisfied with everything. As a result, BCB is positive about the series even before the green signal given by the delegation. The plan has already started.

Sylhet was first thought of as a venue with Dhaka. But for now, BCB is thinking of organizing a game in Chittagong.
