Windies 6 down as Nayeem removes Dowrich

Off-Spiner, Nayeem Hasan removes Dowrich as the visitor West Indies lost 6 wickets in second innings for 96 as the 2nd session of the 3rd day ongoing. On the other hand, Mehdi Miraz, Taijul took 2 wickets each and Shakib took the other one. 

At the end of overs 39, West Indies 139/6. SO Hetmyer 80 and Bishoo 11 were in batting. The visitor trail by 258 runs.

The Bangladesh spinners are running rings around the West Indies batsmen as the visitors got off to another bad start in their second innings after following-on at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur today. West Indies became the first team that were made to follow-on by the Tigers.

West Indies lost 4 wickets for 29 after following-on as Shakib and Miraz bagged one wicket each and Taijul bagged two. Shakib once again got his Windies counterpart Brathwaite while Miraz got the wicket of Kieran Powell. Taijul Islam then trapped Sunil Ambris in-front as WI lost their third wicket in the second innings. Taijul took his second as Roston Chase drove uppishly to Mominul Haque at extra-cover as Windies began to unravel in the second innings too.

At lunch on Day 2 Windies are facing an uphill task, trailing Bangladesh by 351 runs and with six wickets left. Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer are at the crease for the visitors. It has been an incredible session for Bangladesh who picked up nine Windies wickets for 82 runs with Miraz, Shakib and Taijul among the wickets.

Earlier, West Indies all out for 111 runs in their first innings. Mehdi Hasan Miraz and Shakib Al Hasan took 7 and 3 wickets respectively for Bangladesh.
