Will do better next time: Liton

“Bangladesh will visit New Zealand, however, they will return home empty-handed after losing all the matches” — this has been the truth for so long. The Tigers have further established this theory in this tour as well!
At the end of another nightmare tour, Bangladesh’s acting T20 captain Liton Das claimed that the team is “still learning” in New Zealand. At the same time, he said he hopes to do better next time.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Liton Das led the team in the last T20 as regular captain Mahmudullah Riyad was ruled out due to injury. He himself was faded as the symbol of the team’s failure.
Finn Allen, who made his debut for New Zealand in the current series, has scored 71 runs alone, while everyone in the Bangladesh team has collected 76 runs!
Liton has been blaming batting and fielding for such a performance. Besides, the team’s bowling was also too faded. Due to rain, the length of each innings in the last T20 was reduced to 10 overs. Taking advantage of this opportunity, the Kiwis collected 141 runs by beating the Bangladeshi bowlers. But the Tiger batsmen could not get out of the pressure of this run.
At the end of the match, Liton Das said, “We are not doing well in batting and fielding. We are accustomed to playing on subcontinental wickets. But at the same time, we need to know how to play bouncy wickets. The team is still learning how to play on wickets and conditions here. I hope we will do better next time.”
