Westbound schedule trap: 2 trains canceled

The train schedule of the western region has been disrupted due to the line-collapse of the Rangpur Express as railway authorities have decided to cancel Kurigram Express and Benapole Express on Sunday.
Mohammad Aminul Haque, station manager of Kamalapur Railway Station, confirmed the matter on Saturday night.
He said that the two trains that were canceled are Kurigram Express leaving Dhaka for Kurigram and Benapole Express from Dhaka for Benapole. Due to the train accident at Ullapara, the schedule is facing a little disruption. As a result, the two trains were canceled on Sunday for the benefit of the passengers. The trains will resume on Monday.
The station manager added that most of the western trains today could not leave Kamalapur station at the scheduled time. However, we expect the Western train schedule to return to normal from Monday.
Lalmonirhat-bound Rangpur Express train was derailed with 9 buggies at Ullapara railway on Thursday afternoon and caught fire. At least five people in this. Later, six fire service teams controlled the fire and rescued the injured.
