BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said the dialogue with the government is depends on the agenda.

He said, “We want a meaningful dialogue.”

He said that a new election must be given by canceling the December 30 election and form a neutral commission. “The participation in the dialogue is depends on whether their agenda does not meet or not.”

He told this to reporters at the end of the visit of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) mazar in Sylhet. As part of the post-election program, Jatiya Oikyafront leaders visited Sylhet as part of the program.

During this, Mirza Fakhrul further said, “The decision has not yet been decided whether the BNP will go to the Upazila elections.”

Dr. Regarding Kamal Hossain’s statement, he said that this is his (Dr. Kamal) statement. “We will not be able to say whether we will leave Jamaat or got to the polls without Jamaat. It’s a party matter. The decision will be taken about the matter with everyone.”

Jatiya Oikyafront went to Sylhet on a regular flight of Bangladesh Biman around 11:30 pm on Monday. Oikyafront leaders went to Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) shrine at 12:10 pm. Later, they left for Hazrat Shahparan (R) to visit the shrine.

Among the Jatiya Oikyafront leaders, BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Zafrullah Chowdhury, founder of Gonoshasthaya Kendra, President of Krishak Sramik Janata League Abdul Kader Siddiqui, Secretary General Habibur Rahman Bir Pratik, Advocate Subrata Chowdhury, General Secretary Mostafa Mohsin Montu, JSD President ASM Abdur Rab and top leaders were present.
