Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Malik said Bangladesh may receive the Russian COVID-19 vaccine by the end of November. The health minister said while responding to questions from reporters at his office in the secretariat on Monday.
The minister said Russia is one of the few countries in the world who have completed the third phase trial of the coronavirus vaccine. The vaccine could be available in late November. We are trying to get this vaccine on a priority basis.
We are in touch with all concerned countries who are working to invent the corona vaccine. Letters are also being circulated as well. We will make agreements with those companies that will produce vaccines here. This will make it easier for us to get the vaccine, he added.
