Apart from Tamim, players like Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Soumya Sarkar, Mohammad Naim Sheikh, Taskin Ahmed also got vaccinated. After receiving the vaccine, Tamim said that he felt lucky to get the vaccine so fast.
Inoculation of cricketers started by vaccinating Soumya Sarkar. His wife Priyanti Debnath Puja has also been vaccinated. Tamim Iqbal's wife has also been vaccinated.
Tamim said, "I was afraid, I will not deny it. It can be for all. The thing about vaccination is that if you know how helpful it is for you then I think your fear will be reduced. We are lucky that we are getting it. Many of the countries we call first-line countries do not have this amount of vaccines."
Tamim saluted everyone involved in the vaccination program. He also thanked Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Tiger Opener thinks everyone should be encouraged to get vaccinated.
In this regard, Tamim said, in fact, we always point out various kinds of negative words. But I think we should share this positive thing too. The process is being so beautiful.
“Many of my family members have taken the vaccine. Everyone took it quite well. I salute those who are involved with it. It's a great experience,” Tamim added.
