A variety of delicious food is arranged at almost every house on Eid day that easily brings the temptation to the tongue. Moreover, after fasting for a month, almost everyone’s food routine has changed. You have to be careful so that Eid food or uncontrolled eating should not make you gain weight.

Practice eating slowly
It is obvious you will gain weight after eating sweets and deep-fried food during the Eid period. So no matter how tempting these foods maybe, if you want to lose weight, you have to curve that. Instead of eating in a hurry, practice eating slowly.
Drink plenty of water
Staying at home all day is less stressful, as a result, you don’t feel thirsty and due to this, we are drinking less water. If you want to control your weight, drink two glasses of water before eating. This will prevent you from overeating. Besides, when your body is hydrated your energy expenditure at rest increases, which means you burn calories faster.
What to eat
It is not wise to suddenly eat high-salt and fatty foods on the Eid day after a month of Ramadan. Meals should be eaten sparingly and with breaks. However, the break should not be too long. If you want to maintain weight, start eating fresh fruits and vegetables before putting your hands on high-calorie snacks.
Take a 30-minute walk
Focus on exercise as well as food. This is extremely important. Many people do not have a chance to exercise at this time of lockdown. Walking for at least 30 minutes every day will help you maintain your weight. One can follow a “walking while talking” routine to stay active throughout the day. Then gradually add the habit of jumping rope and running into your daily routine.
Must take nap
Getting up in Sehri during the month of Ramadan completely changes your sleep routine. What many don’t know is that if you don’t get enough sleep, it can affect your weight loss! So make sure to get a nap at a certain time every day.
