“Warning signal 2” for 15 regions’ river port

River ports in 15 regions of the country have been asked to show the No. 2 naval warning signal by met office.
The weather forecast for the inland river port of the country from 4:30 am to 1:00 pm on Friday said that the warning signal will be effective for Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Jashore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram, Cox's Bazar and Sylhet areas.
Temporary winds with rain or thunderstorms at speeds of 60-80 km per hour may blow over these areas from the south or south-east.
Apart from this, temporary gusts of wind with rain and thunderstorm at a speed of 45-60 km per hour may blow over other parts of the country from the south-southeast.
River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning number 1.
