Want to play for country, not IPL: Mustafiz

The Tiger fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman has got an opportunity to play in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). At the same time, the national team’s tour of Sri Lanka has raised concerns about his playing in the IPL. In such a situation, Fizz said “he wants to play for the country, not IPL.”
Bangladesh national cricket team all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has decided to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) instead of playing in the Test series against Sri Lanka. After his decision came to the spotlight, the country’s cricket arena has been outcrying for the last few days. Mustafizur also got a chance in the 14th IPL. For this reason, everyone was interested in his decision after Shakib.
Meanwhile, Mustafiz cleared his position on Tuesday. He told reporters that playing for the national team will be his priority. As a result, if the national team tour amid the IPL, he will wear the country’s jersey.
Earlier on Monday, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hasan Papon said that if Mustafiz wanted to play in the IPL, he would be allowed to go like Shakib. However, he said the upcoming deal would increase some conditions for players to play in foreign leagues. The next day, Cutter Master stated his position on the IPL.
