The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) formal body has identified the 11 sources of WASA corruption. At the same time, the body has also recommended 12-points of actions to prevent the corruption.

Regarding this issue, ACCA Commissioner Mozammel Haque Khan handed over a report file to local government minister Md. Tajul Islam at the secretariat on Thursday noon.

Meanwhile, Mozammel Haque told reporters, "We have reviewed WASA. WASA is likely to have corruption in about 11 sectors. In contrast, 12 recommendations have been recorded.

But these suggestions (recommendations) are not such a compulsory issue, he said, "We could also reduce or increase this number." We have made the report based on the observation that they have the scope of corruption or the sectors where corruption takes place.

It is not the work of a huge research organization, quoting that, “It is made by our officials. But there is nothing to refute what we said. These are real talks,” he said.
