Voting held peacefully in Bangladesh: Indian observer

The 11th general election of Bangladesh has been held fairly and peacefully, said Indian Observer Group.

Head of Indian observer said this afternoon that fair elections were held all over the country.

The voting starts at 8am and ends at 4pm. Now votes counting is going on.

Foreign observers expressed their satisfaction over the overall environment of the elections. 

Foreign observer Tania Foster said, "So far I have gone to five polling stations. I am proud to be the witness of this election of Bangladesh. In each center, voters cast their vote very gladly. It really inspired me. I am fascinated by the whole festive atmosphere of this election.
