Sunday's trip to Valencia to face Levante will see Vinicius return to the Real Madrid line-up as one of the key components in attack and the Brazilian teenager has one objective in mind, which is to score more goals.

During his incredible emergence in the first team, the only thing holding him back has been his disappointing contribution in front of goal.

He has scored just twice in 13 games since he became a regular starter, once against Alaves in LaLiga Santander and once against Leganes in the Copa del Rey.

Vinicius is undoubtedly the symbol of Real Madrid's revolution in 2019, with his offensive contribution being decisive for the turnaround in form.

He has added speed, aggression and directness and has been starting many of the team's attacks.

In fact, since he has been a regular starter he has recorded five assists, although goals still resist him in comparison with the number of chances he generates.

Goals are his unfinished business, with a total of three in 24 first-team games this season, although those appearances under Julen Lopetegui were mere cameos.

His spell at Real Madrid really began under Solari and he has still scored more goals for Castilla, with four, than with the first team.

The teenager has become a reference point in attack and a key ally for Karim Benzema, with the Frenchman having notched 19 goals, many coming from assists from Vinicius.

"He's scored goals and he will score many more," Solari insisted when asked on his forward's lack of precision in front of goal.

"Each week he learns something new and he is surrounded by the best to keep growing day by day.

"We're here to support him, he's only 18-years-old."The challenge is clear for Vinicius, and he'll have the support of his coach and his teammates to overcome it.
