The administration on Thursday has recovered 6 decimals of land demolishing the three-storey luxury cottage of Upazila Women's Vice Chairman Ferdousi Alam Nila which was built occupying government land at Rupganj in Narayanganj.

On Thursday, according to the direction of Narayanganj DC Jasim Uddin, the local administration has demolished the house of the woman vice-chairman of Ichapur area of ​​the upazila.

Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Tariqul Islam said the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) made the hearing on the land issue at Rupganj Upazila Parishad Auditorium on October 23 last. Upazila Women Vice-Chairman Ferdousi Alam was alleged in this issue. But she denied the possession of government land. Later, the ACC commissioner assigned DC Jasim Uddin to investigate the government's land grab. The investigation found the fact that Woman Vice-Chairman Ferdousi Alam Nila has built the luxury cottage by occupying six decimal of the government's land.
