Veteran actor Manjur Hossain passes away. He breathed his last at his house at Banani on Friday noon. He was 81 years old.

Manjur Hossain was an actor, director, producer. He was born in 1937.

After that, he was seen in the ‘Harano Din’, ‘Paise’, ‘Dharapat’, ‘Saat Rong’, ‘Talash’, ‘Sheet Bikel’, ‘Bandhan’, ‘Milan’, ‘Kajal’, ‘Nawab Sirajuddaula’, ‘Kanchan Mala’ , ‘Chhota Saheb’, ‘Bajana’, ‘Rupban’, ‘Noyon Tara’, ‘Tum Mere Ho’, ‘Koolie’, ‘Mukti’, ‘Sangsar’, ‘Nolok’, ‘Shahjadi Gulbahar’ and many other films.

He also directed two films ---‘Shomapti’ and ‘Duti Mon Duti Asha’.

At the end of his life, Manjur Hossain was more interested in business. He has a business organization in Nawabpur in the capital. Although he did not act, he used to come to BFDC. However, he has not been seen here for the last two years.
