Vaccination campaign running smoothly: Health Secy

Health Secretary Abdul Mannan today said the Covid-19 vaccination campaign is running smoothly due to long experience of vaccination in the country.
He made the remarks after inspecting vaccination campaign activities at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in the capital on Saturday.
Regarding the ongoing vaccination program in the country, the Health Secretary said vaccinations are being given in an excellent environment. “No problem anywhere.”
He said it takes a maximum of 5 minutes to get vaccinated. There is no doubt about receiving the vaccine jab.
No official decision has been taken so far to give coronavirus vaccine in private hospitals, the Health Secretary said.
